Today is the day. A sublime autumn afternoon in Brooklyn. A bride and her vivacious flower girls on their way to her wedding.
I am rather smitten with Joseph Campbell these days. The Power of Myth is totally rocking my world, and it is my bedside reading right now. On the subject of marriage he wrote in An Open Life:
“What a beautiful thing is a life together.”
[Note: This post is part of a year-long collaborative photography project dedicated to the exploration of composition. This week’s exploration is devoted to balancing your primary subject(s) using geometrical shapes . To see the rest of the images from my fellow participants and to learn more about this project, please go to our group website Who We Become. It’s totally awesome.]
And how is your heart, soul and spirit today?
