Letters To Our Sons: April
Well, here we are again. And spring’s work is underway. It is at once wonderful and painful.
It is hard for me to write a letter to you, within the context of this image-based project, and not make mention of your sister, who is your co-star in so many of the photographs I capture. This might not be the case if you weren’t equally adept at cracking each other up. The camera comes out, and, with Pavlovian reliability, so do the poo-poo jokes.
I want you so many things for you. But it occurs to me that one day you may want other things. I hope I have the wisdom to accept you who for you are and for what you want. It may not always be how I would have hoped or imagined.
Some more images from the long winter that was.
This monthly post is part of a group blog project I am thrilled and honored to participate in. Next up in our blog circle is the fabulous Lauren Ammerman. Please take a moment to check out her post this month, and be sure to check out what the rest of our blog circle is up to during this month’s heartfelt and inspired project.
