p52.2 framed: playing with composition [subject separation]

I am in the midst of making our first ever family vacation photo book with images that we took during our recent visit to Tybee Island, GA. I have devoted myself this year to printing my images (a goal I intend to maintain going forward), and have made four hard cover photo books of the kids’ recent birthdays from the past few years, one soft cover photo book of our 2013 iPhone photos, and now this vacation photo book that is in the works. Here is a tranquil beach scene favorite that I captured during our visit down south,. Not a single Brooklyn Patton to be found.

[Note: This post is part of a year-long collaborative photography project dedicated to the exploration of creative composition. This week’s exploration is devoted to subject separation.
