I just received in the mail a photo album I made through MyPublisher of our recent trip to Tybee Island in Georgia. The layflat album is gorgeous and impressive. This is one of my favorite images from our visit there. I adore the muted colors and soft focus, which lend themselves well to telling the story of this calm moment and the quiet morning we all spent together building drip castles in the sand.

This week’s exploration is devoted to creating intentionally out of focus images.
