In my not so spare time, I also photograph other families here in Brooklyn. I have been pouring over some of my favorite recent client images and this one, of Lindsay and Nick and their lovely daughter in this sweet embrace, is one of my absolute favorite family photos I have ever taken. I love their amazing connection, and how I have captured what seems to be a quiet, intimate moment near this bustling city street. This was taken in front of the Brooklyn Museum around this time last year, shortly after they moved to Brooklyn’s choicest neighborhood, when they were just starting to get a feel for the place. I also photographed them again this year (those photos are currently under wraps!) and they seem pretty comfortable around these parts. I refer to them as The Dreamboat Family because they are so dreamy to photograph and to collaborate with.
I have blogged more images from this session at K. Rox Photography, where I house all my client images. Do check it out, won’t you? This post is also part of our photography collective over at Who We Become, where we are sharing some current favorites while we get geared up for our next collaboration in the new year.
